Kelp algae (Macrocystis pyrifera) grow along the Pacific coast and have the fastest linear growth of any organism on Earth. It is possible to grow up to two hundred meters in length at a rate of 60 cm per day.

Kelp algae is one of the richest sources of natural vitamins, mainly of the B complex (B1, B2, B6, B12), minerals, amino acids and trace elements (contains: copper, chromium, zinc, selenium, iron, iodine) and is a nutritional source that is used to promote healthy glandular function focusing particularly on the thyroid.

They can also contribute to weight loss if it is associated with a low metabolic rate as it increases fat burning and helps the body meet its nutrient needs during dieting.

Active substance of Kelp seaweed, the algin that has the ability to absorb toxins of the digestive system, improve digestion and cleanse the blood of environmental toxins, heavy metals cadmium and barium as well as to prevent absorption by the body of radioactive iodine and strontium 90.
