Ingredient Actions
Uncaria stimulates phagocytosis of macrophages, prevents the proliferation of viruses and contains polyphenols that have anti-inflammatory action.
Echinacea is used to prevent and treat colds. Both the antiviral and antibacterial properties of the plant are due to its content of echinacoside, whose direct action against viruses and bacteria has been documented.
Thyme contains flavonoids that have antispasmodic and antitussive action, have anti-inflammatory properties and, due to its content of saponins, show mucosal and expectorant action.
Icelandic Lichen creates a protective layer on the mucosa, thus preventing the invasion of pathogens, and has anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects.
Propolis contains more than 300 biochemicals, including essential oils, resins, minerals, sugars and vitamins. Among others, Propolis:
* is anti-inflammatory, inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins
* is bactericidal, as it dissolves the cell membrane of bacteria
* has an immunomodulatory effect, stimulating the synthesis and action of leukocytes
* has antiviral activity, preventing the entry of viruses into cells as well as their proliferation.
Adults: 20 ml 2 times a day, away from meals
Infants from 6 months to 1 year: 2,5 ml 2 times a day, dissolved in a little water if required.
Children from 1 to 3 years: 5 ml 2 times a day
Children 3 to 6 years: 7,5 ml 2 times a day
Children 6 to 12 years: 10 ml 2 times a day
